Root Work • Buyer Be Ware!

It is not uncommon for me to receive one or two calls a week from people all over the country who have consulted a “psychic” and shortly thereafter, perhaps their second visit, find that a set up is in play.

The set up usually begins in an innocent way. The reader (con artist) will make a magical suggestion, perhaps for the client to wear money folded in a special way on their body. Another suggestion is  to sleep with an egg under the pillow. There are many variations of the magical suggestion.

Each can be an intriguing suggestion, and as no harm seems immediate, why not? Why not try that suggestion which may help you achieve your goals. Most often, the money or the egg is brought to the next session.

The reader will report that they can see from the contents of the egg, or the condition of the money that someone has “put a root” on the seeker.  The root could have been “worked” to cause the client to lose love, lose health, or to have “bad luck”.

Sometimes these false readers will actually introduce the idea that someone is working roots or has put a root on the seeker, or a family member at the very first session!

Be sure, these readers often have some gift. Many are very good cold readers. Some are indeed gifted seers, but these kind of seers will seek profit above all.

I believe they corrupt the gift by setting a snare. Once hooked, clients may spend as little as $300 and as much as $30,000 to remove the root. Sometimes the language is different. Sometimes there is a curse, a spell, a black cloud in the aura that will bring trouble to the seeker.

  • To be sure, there are sorcerers in this world.
  • Be sure there are those who can indeed conjure.
  • There are those shamans who have so practiced their path that they are able to accomplish remarkable things.
  • There are those who can become invisible.
  • There are some who can move through time.
  • There are powerful sadhus in India who have such mastery over self and mind that their feats are legendary or secret.
  • There are shamans born hundreds of years ago who remain in formless realms and can be contacted today.

It is my experience that those powerful beings who can indeed do magic, will do this for others only to do good work. They can bring blessings, healings, peace and harmony where no hope of such things existed.

If a shaman, priestess, or mystic seer has devoted their life to perfecting their intention, it is unlikely that they will sell their mastery to “reunite lost love.”

As for me, I understand that every action has a reaction. I understand that willingly causing harm to another person has a cost! I will not pay that price.

I advise everyone who seeks a magical solution to look within. If you stop to think about it, each one of us contains all the magic we need to change our lives, and indeed the world.

The challenge in Western culture is that we have become separated from our own magnificence. We are so far from sleeping under the stars, listening to the animals move through the darkness, hearing only the stillness of the natural world, the bird song, the wind in the leaves…. that touching the mystic requires time many of us do not have.

As well, it can seem easier to let the “expert” take care of the problem. When I first began working in Jacksonville, Florida it was very common for me to have new clients come who had already spent hundreds on special candles that would be burned in special ceremonies.

A ritual candle is a tool you may use to train your mind and work the magic of recreating your own life. Positive affirmations, mantra, psalms are all tools at your fingertips that can help you work your own magick.

I did a touch of research on line to see what the web had to say. I can share my experience. I have indeed met masters of magic. I have seen great deeds done. I have seen blessings and hope, help and healing accomplished through herbal blends, incense, carrying amulets and talismans.

In all those cases, the “magick” was done by the person seeking change. I invite you to seek within to discover your magick. Don’t pay someone else please. The risk is that you will fall deeper and deeper down a rabbit hole.

Peace to all.
